Pastor J. Patrick Miller is
the senior pastor of Water’s
Edge Family of Faith in Frisco, Texas.
Known nationally as an amazing
speaker and a dynamic, innovate preacher
who is tireless in his passion for presenting
the
good news of Jesus Christ to anyone and everyone,
Pastor Patrick came to Water’s Edge in
2004 after serving as the Pastor of Outreach
at Grace Lutheran Church in Escondido, California
for 4 years. While in California, Pastor Patrick
was selected to give the opening invocation
at a speaking engagement by President George
W. Bush in 2003 where he had the honor of standing
at the podium of the President of the United
States and leading hundreds of people in a
prayer for our President, our leaders, and
our country, all in the name of our Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ. Previously, he had the
privilege of giving a memorable college graduation
address in front of the first lady of Texas
who, at that time, was none other than Laura
Bush. Since arriving in Frisco, by the grace
of God, Water’s Edge Family of Faith
has been blessed with exponential growth, seeing
its average weekend worship attendance grow
seven fold in just over two years. Pastor Patrick
would be the first one to say, all Glory to
God! His gifted wife, Heather, is a full-time
mother, a part-time stamp-it-up demonstrator,
and is the children’s church facilitator
at Water’s Edge. They, along with their
two daughters and son, are obviously very active at Water’s
Edge Family of Faith. When Pastor Patrick
is away from work, he enjoys spending time
with
his family and friends, playing golf, fishing,
and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
Dr.
Peter Kahle,
a licensed psychologist in Texas, is the

Counseling & Consulting in Grapevine

national
acclaim in USA TODAY for his cutting edge
work in the area of integrating spirituality
and psychotherapy.
His book, The Power of Spirituality in
Therapy,
was released in March of 2004 to very favorable
reviews. Peter, an outspoken Christian and
confessing sinner, was also a contributing
author in the
best selling book 101 More Interventions
in Family Therapy. He’s worked
for The University of Texas at Austin
and Texas Woman’s University,
has lectured on other university campuses,
and has presented seminars at numerous
national and
state conferences from coast to coast. Using
an unorthodox and sometimes humorous style,
Peter’s
spoken to packed breakout sessions at Glorybound
and has led energetic adult, young adult,
and high school Bible classes at a number
of Christian
mega-churches in the DFW metroplex. His talented
wife, Amber, is an amazing mother and a registered
nurse in a local school district. They, along
with their two young daughters, are active
members of Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst,
TX. In his
spare time, he enjoys spending quality time
with his family and friends, reading, working
out,
playing golf, and following the Dallas Mavericks
and University of Texas athletics.
